This is a placeholder policy. Final wording will be published before public launch.
Information submitted through the request-access form is used to respond to your enquiry and manage access requests. When you are invited to the private beta and an account is created, we collect your name, email address, and role (e.g. independent designer, studio team, maker), and we use this information to manage your account and communicate with you about the platform.
We also collect pattern files, images, and associated metadata that you upload to the platform. This data is stored securely and is only accessible to you and any team members you invite to your workspace.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or pattern data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored on secure servers with appropriate access controls. Pattern files and personal information are encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can export your pattern data from the platform. If you delete your account, your personal information and pattern data will be permanently removed within a reasonable period.
designroom.express uses essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. If analytics are added in the future, they will be privacy-respecting (no personal data collection) and disclosed here.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or through a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
