Pattern Assistant
Describe the change you need and the assistant finds a starting Pattern from your own library and sets out what to change. You review it before anything is applied.
Reads your brief and references, turns them into a clear plan, and asks when something is unclear.
Pattern changes are applied by fixed rules, so the same input always gives the same result.
You select the source Pattern, review the preview, and accept or reject. Nothing is applied without your decision.
Your Pattern and Block library is the starting point — not a generated template. When you ask the Pattern Assistant to help, it searches your private Studio library using garment type, measurements, component structure, and Pattern history. Results are ranked transparently — every match is explained.
The search runs only inside your own Studio's Patterns.
You describe a change — a brief, explicit measurements, selected references. The assistant works out what you mean and proposes a clear plan: which pieces, what changes, what amounts.
If the request is ambiguous — "shorten the sleeve" without specifying where, or "make it slightly looser" — the assistant asks for clarification. It never silently guesses.
Pattern changes are applied by fixed rules. You see:
If any proposed change is unsupported, it is clearly labelled. You decide whether to proceed.
The review explains what was checked. It never overrides a real validation problem. You see:
Blockers cannot be overridden. Warnings must be acknowledged.
When you accept, a new Pattern Version is saved — the source Version is never modified. The new version records what changed, what was checked, and who approved it.
After acceptance, moving the change up to an approved Style Revision is a separate step. Issued Manufacturing Documents and Factory Releases are never changed automatically.
Where it sits
The assistant works on patterns you already own. These screens come from the current application, using representative demo data.
Read your brief and references. Ask when something is unclear. Set out what would change.
Apply the change by fixed rules. Work out the new measurements. Validate the result.
Choose the source Pattern. Review the preview. Check the results. Accept or reject.
